FAQ
1. What happens if I forget my master password?
If you do not have a usable encrypted backup, your local encrypted content may not be recoverable.
2. Are original photos deleted after import?
No. The app saves an encrypted copy. Deleting originals from Photos or Files requires your confirmation.
3. Is my data automatically uploaded to the cloud?
No. Secret Box stores data on your device by default and does not provide automatic cloud sync.
4. Can iOS hide other apps?
No. iOS does not allow regular apps to hide themselves or arbitrary third-party apps at the system level.
Secret Box provides a local private vault, discreet entry, auto lock, and encrypted backup features.

Secret Box is designed as a local-first private vault. The app only accesses photos or files you actively choose to import.
